Worlds' Goodest Teecher:
Accomplishments and Anxieties in Education
I earned my Bachelor of Education degree in 2009. Since then I have been working on honing my skills in instruction and classroom management. Everyday presents its own challenges and rewards. Sometimes I think the day has offered more learning opportunities for me than for the students I've taught.
Understanding that no one is perfect or has all the answers is, I believe, one of the key components of education. There is always something to learn or some way to improve. We all make mistakes and we can't be good at everything. It is how we react to these situations that make us true learners.
Self-reflection is key to growth and that's what this web-site is about. A place to showcase the success and hash out the challenges so that I can continue to connect, reflect, adapt and grow in order to provide the best learning experience I possibly can. A place for me to organize my personal growth as I try to become the Worlds' Goodest Teecher. |

About Ms. Stefanson
Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada I am between homes in Ontario for the moment. Future plans will take us to Winnipeg where I am excited to get back to teaching. I have a small family with my partner, Jake and our pet bunny, George.
I love teaching and working with kids but when I'm not doing that I can be found reading, watching films, riding my bike or running, dancing, going to concerts and music festivals, cooking, baking, gardening and crocheting.
I love to learn. Right now I am learning to speak French more fluently. Last year I learned to hula hoop for fun and fitness and to waterski. Also on my "To Learn" list: sign language, guitar and downhill skiing. Bring on the new challenges.
